About

The Nursing Department is an integrated healthcare organization entity that aims to satisfy the nursing needs of patients and their families. The nursing services at HBCH and MPMMCC aimed to improve the quality of life of the people on the receiving side by respecting their beliefs, personalities, lifestyles, and rights of the people served and supporting their autonomy and self-determination.

We have dedicated Nursing staff members to providing outstanding services to patients with cancer. All the nursing staff must undergo a careful orientation program and complete their pre-patient assignment requirements under the senior nursing In-charges which would ensure safe professional care to their stakeholders. To build and maintain an environment where nursing staff can function proactively and be nurtured affirmatively with a proper appreciation for each individual’s contribution.

Research & Educational Activities:

The department supports research and educational activities for the development and growth of employees.

Education

• Post Basic Diploma in Oncology Nursing (PBDON).
• Fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Nursing Care
• Fellowship in Paediatric Oncology Nursing.
• Certificate Course on Enterostomal Therapy
• Certificate Course on Central Venous Access Devices (CVAD).
