ACADEMICS

About

Department of Academics plays major role in conducting various educational activities in MPMMCC & HBCH. The department follows NMC guidelines for running various courses in affiliation with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow. The department develops policies, plans and executes academic activities for Senior Resident, Junior Resident, Medical Officers, JRF and Trainees.

The services provided by the department include:

  • 06 Months’ Certified Training in Oncology (Medical) and Short-Term Certified Training Courses (Paramedical) in various Departments/Specialty.
  • The Centre also encourages practicing medical and scientific professionals for continuing education through short-term observer-ships.
  • We also run short-term Nursing courses to develop a high degree of skills in CVAD and Enterostomal Therapy.
  • Institutional Academic Meets are regularly conducted on every Wednesday, which helps all the medical professionals in the institute to be updated in their respective fields.
  • Recruitment of Senior Residents, Junior Resident, Medical Officer, Trainees, and Fellows.

The department supports research and educational activities for the development and growth of employees.

  10. Fellowship & training in different disciplines

Achievements:

  1. Received permission from National Medical Commission to start DM Medical Oncology (02 seats), DM Onco Pathology (02 seats) and MD Anaesthesiology (02 Seats) from session 2022-23. Similarly, National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences permitted to start DNB Diploma in Radio Diagnosis (04 seats) from session 2022-23.
