MEDICAL ADMINISTRATION

About

The Medical Administration (Medical Superintendent Office) plays a vital role in patient care, it takes care of the administration of the hospital. It supervises overall daily hospital operations from pre-registration to post-discharge. Last year we had 21,181 new registrations and 19,884 indoor admissions.
M.S. Office aims to facilitate all the possible ease and comfort in healthcare delivery to the patient and their attendant. We also work to maintain ambient working environment for our staff. From ensuring timely, adequate and standard medical supplies to standardizing of protocols and procedures.

The services provided by the department include:

We work towards financial feasibility for the hospital and facilitate govt. and non- govt. funds to make cancer care affordable ethical revenue generation methods for the hospital and also try our best to facilitate economically challenged patients with various funds. Medical Superintendent’s office supervises overall working and operations of hospital, to enumerate few:
  1. Hospital planning, development, expansion and budgeting.
  2. Manpower selection and allocation.
  3. Patient complains, feedbacks and grievance redressals.
  4. Medical benefits to hospital employees.
  5. Medical reimbursements of patients.
  6. Providing medical records to patients.
  7. Issuing death certificates for institutional deaths.
  8. Registration and admission.
  9. Pharmacy services, Nursing Administration, CSSD services, rehabilitation services, MRD services, central registration services, dietetics services, medical social services, biomedical engineering, quality management, etc.
  10. Teaching and training of staff for skill augmentation.

Achievements:

  1. Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Center were awarded the certificate for exemplary performance under AB-PMJAY scheme for the consecutive 4th Year on 24th Sep. 2022.
  2. Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Center was awarded as Best hospitals under AB-PMJAY for processing the maximum no. of claims in entire District, Varanasi in year 2022. The certificate was presented by District Magistrate, Varanasi on the occasion of Republic Day, 2023.
  3. Workshop: Cardiac Risk Assessment Screening Program held on 29th Sept, 2022 on the Occasion of World Heart Day for the staff of MPMMCC & HBCH.
  4. Unit for Strengthening Cause of Death Data (USCOD) established by the CCE, Mumbai was organized a National Workshop on Strengthening Cause of Death Data Quality at MPMMCC on 16th & 17th Dec, 2022.
  5. Medical equipment and instruments were received from the Utkarsh Welfare Foundation under CSR support to strengthen the health infrastructure towards preparedness for the COVID-19 pandemic.
