SECURITY DEPARTMENT

About

The security department at HBCH/MPMMCC comprises of 263 personnel including Assistant Security Officers, Fire Officers, Security Assistants, Fireman, Drivers and Security personnel. The security department is handling both centres at Varanasi and also catering for the security needs of the centre in Muzaffarpur. The mandated responsibilities of Security department are crowd management, traffic management and regulating the movement of people, materials, vehicles etc. The department has also shouldered other varied responsibilities like conducting evacuation drills, firefighting, parking arrangement, CCTV surveillance, imparting training to staff in firefighting & security matters.

The services provided by the department include:

The Security department is responsible for surveillance, supervision, regulation and monitoring of people, material, elevators, vehicles etc to ensure safety and security of the Institute property.
Every year department organises National festivals like Republic Day and Independence Day The department also organized Anti-Terrorism Day, Sadbhavana Diwas, Constitution Day, Vigilance Awareness Week and National Unity Day etc.
The department is actively involved in Liasioning with local police & Civic officials to address various issues of our centres. The department also arranged adequate security during VIP’s visit to MPMMCC/HBCH.
