Department of Surgical Oncology is the state-of-the-art department offering surgical services for all solid tumors. The department provides clinical care for different sub specialties like Head & Neck, Gastrointestinal, Thoracic, Breast, Bone & Soft tissue, Neurosurgery, Urology, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Pediatric Surgery and Gynecologic Oncology. The department performed more than 4000 major surgeries in the year 2022. It provides surgical care for Gastrointestinal, Urology, thoracic, gynaecology, breast, Pediatric, neurosurgery, bone and soft tissue and head and neck cancer.The department is rapidly progressing and providing innovative and minimally access surgeries.The department takes part in several community programs for cancer control and is dedicated towards reducing the cancer burden in the country and world.
